Layla’s Market: Enjoy Delicious Pizza and Sandwiches in Little Rock

The owner is a very pleasant man. Server was highly attentive. The salad I had was a little oily due to the bell peppers and onions so I didn't need much dressing. Good portions on the plates.

Layla’s has it all. Mediterranean everything plus pizzas that are really great plus calzones that are so lovely and pasta and gyros and … everything. Love the people. Always friendly and fast and affordable. Every time i eat at Layla’s i think “i should eat here more often”.

This place rocks with great everything! Been coming here for years and still cannot find anything that beats their menu and items. I use to settle for Taziki’s at McCain Mall but they closed up and left town. Funny, so did Layla’s when they closed their NLR McCain Blvd location. NLR just doesn’t have the capacity to accommodate a Greek restaurant. Darn it! Will just have to cross the river, I guess. Or head to Sherwood and eat at Mama’s Gyros Grill. I digress. Try the appetizer tray and the Tilapia Salad at Layla’s. Daughter had the Spinach Pizza. The best!

Food is outstanding, service is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

We were recommended this place for some Mediterranean food and thought we'd give it a shot. My boss had the chicken shawarma plate and i had a gyro and a small greek salad. We also ordered a piece of baklava for dessert. The gyro was pretty good, the taziki was pretty different from what I'm used to but it was good. The gyro itself didnt have enough sauce so i ordered an extra which made it better. The shawarma plate was pretty darn big but it was good. I know it's just a salad but I love greek salads, and this was prolly the most plain, terrible greek salad I've ever had. I picked off the feta and tossed it on my gyro, so it wasnt a complete loss. The baklava had an awesome amount of nuts/pistachios but it was really dry, like there was no honey syrup on it which was disappointing. Overall this place was a solid 4 for me. Food was okay, service was good and the atmosphere was okay as well. i think the rating is a little too high for this on realistically. I would rank this around 4.2-4.4. Not as good as I remember from the last time we were in town but still decent. Fair prices and friendly service. Dirty dilapidated restroom.

Its no nonsense Mediterranean food. If you want the nice looking, organized Mediterranean place, you wont get it there. But if you want great food, good service and want it quickly, this is the place. I ordered the layla's platter, and my wife ordered the combo one. The portion sizes were huge. We both were really hungry after a hike, despite that the portion was too big for us. The star of the show is the gyro meat. Its the best gyro I have till now.

When you enter the restaurant, it smells very good. It is very small inside. The staff are all very friendly. We had the Gyro and it was the best we have ever had! The Gyro here is really good! The hummus and pita we ordered for appetizers were also fantastic. The restaurant has a great selection of Halal dishes.
